Payment Methods & Fees
Doing business in Cuba provides us with many challenges. Foremost are solutions for banking and financial transactions. While travel to Cuba is legal for citizens of all nationalities, and our operation in Cuba obeys all Cuban and international laws, extensive U.S sanctions against Cuba do have a profound effect.
Banks of any significant size that act internationally, obviously want to do business in the U.S. To not put such a valuable opportunity at risk, these banks often decide to just completely avoid any transaction even remotely related to Cuba. This means that the services of the vast majority of banks and international merchant service providers are off limits to us.
Nevertheless we’ve been able to put structures in place to be able to safely receive payments in a variety of ways and currencies.

We currently accept payment in USD, EUR and AUD as well as the Cryptocurrencies Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETC)

0% - We do not add any fee to receive card payment in these currencies, however the merchant (Tropipay) has a Merchant Category Code (MCC) of 4829, which means that your bank will probably charge you exorbitant Cash Advance fees which you will be responsible for paying.
