As a default option, our multi-night Cuba Cycling Tours include modern Hybrid bicycles in the price of the tour. At an extra cost, we offer the following eBike model as an alternative for those who prefer to have some added assistance.

What is a Pedal-Assist eBike?
The Easy Motion Rebel Cross Lite PW is a pedal-assist eBike. This means that there is a battery motor that helps the pedals turn when you are pedaling, but there is no throttle like a motorcycle or dirt bike, so you need to pedal to receive the assistance. This makes it feel like you are riding a traditional old-school bicycle, but you have the benefit of it being less physically demanding and less tiring, especially when faced with a long uphill climb.

The joys of an eBike
The pedal-assist system is surprisingly intuitive to your needs. The bike seems to know when you need a boost! Effectively the bicycle senses when you are putting more pressure on the pedals and the battery seamlessly kicks in. The result is that you don’t need to be an ultra-fit athlete or a hardened road cyclist to be able to have the pleasure of experiencing the beauty of the Cuban scenery in the best way possible: riding silently along Cuba’s back roads; through villages; preserved natural areas; and charming rural settings.
4 Levels of Assistance
The eBike has four different levels of assistance from “Eco+” through to “High”. This means you can set the bike to your own personal level of fitness and also be able to switch to a higher level of assistance when faced with a steep uphill or a strong headwind, or otherwise at the end of the day when you might be feeling tired.
