About the Service

Our custom and private Cuba day tours are led by one of our trustworthy, knowledgeable, and friendly guides. We never subcontract. Our Design Your Own options are primarily in English or Spanish, but let us know if you have another preference — we may have a guide who speaks your language!

Nearly everything going on in Havana can be arranged on the spot or at very short notice. Only a few events such as some ballet performances, or special activities such as dance classes or training with an expert boxing instructor need to be arranged ahead of time. All other events and activities in Havana — such as entry to a cabaret show like the Tropicana, going to a Buena Vista show, or an after-hours visit to Hemingway’s ranch — can be arranged on the day or the day before.

Apart from the obvious convenience of having someone help and assist you with creating the perfect Havana experience, our local Havana guides know the city better than most and can take you to some fascinating hidden gems; navigate you through the ever-changing restaurant and bar scene; inform you about Cuba’s history, architecture, culture, and society; and entertain you with stories and anecdotes.

Some ideas to inspire you: take a day trip to Varadero or Viñales; attend a Cuban baseball game; visit local museums; explore neighbourhoods off the tourist track; visit urban farms; ride the Hershey train or the ferry across the bay; take a cocktail history tour; attend a concert or festival.

Group Size: From 1–12 people. We can accommodate groups larger than 12 by adding a 2nd or 3rd guide.
