Itinerary at a Glance
Both tours share the same route through Day 7. On the 9-day tour, Day 8 ends back in Havana after the Matanzas choir workshop, with departure on Day 9. Viñales Valley is visited on the 11-day tour only.
- Day 1: Arrival in Havana
Arrival in Havana and welcome meeting. Time to settle into your guesthouse and enjoy your first impressions of the city! Welcome dinner, live music, cocktails, and an introductory dance lesson. - Day 2: Havana
Explore the cobbled streets and historic squares of Old Havana on a guided walking tour. Later, discover the richness of Afro-Cuban traditions through music and cultural experiences and attend an a cappella workshop. - Day 3: Havana
Take part in a National Choir workshop and enjoy a vocal sampling experience or an interactive music workshop. The evening offers the possibility of experiencing Havana’s vibrant live music scene. - Day 4: Havana to Cienfuegos via Bay of Pigs
Travel to Cienfuegos, stopping along the way for a refreshing swim. Visit the city and experience local cultural activities, with the option to discover traditional music or community projects. - Day 5: Cienfuegos to Trinidad
Continue to Trinidad, one of Cuba’s best-preserved colonial towns. Explore its charming streets, enjoy an orientation walk and experience the city’s lively atmosphere, cocktails and music. - Day 6: Trinidad
Immerse yourself in Trinidad’s artistic life through percussion and dance workshops led by local musicians and performers. - Day 7: Trinidad to Varadero via Santa Clara
Visit the Che Guevara memorial, explore local nightlife and music venues, and participate in a choir exchange & workshop. - Day 8: Viñales via Matanzas
Choir workshop in Matanzas, followed by a late afternoon Viñales farm visit and walk, then a farm-to-fork sunset dinner at an organic farm.
9-Day tour: after the Matanzas workshop, head back to Havana instead for one last night before departure on Day 9. - Day 9: Viñales Valley 11-Day Only
Explore Viñales Valley on a light hike and enjoy a rural farm lunch. Dance lesson and a visit to a local live music venue. - Day 10: Havana via Fusterlandia 11-Day Only
Fusterlandia visit, local Havana market, Buena Vista show and farewell dinner. - Day 11: Havana 11-Day Only

Our tour guide Adrian was able to make the trip interesting and informative despite potentially difficult circumstances. All the people we dealt with on this trip who were engaged by Cuban Adventurers such as local guides and accommodation providers were positive, helpful and friendly and added to our enjoyment of the tour.
