Description

This Viñales package of minimum 2 days/1 night, can be attached to either the beginning or the end of our 15 day Original Cuba Tour. At 3 hours from Havana, a visit to the spectacular Viñales valley makes for a great escape from the hussle and bustle of Havana and a chance to see Cuba's most famous cigar producing region. Vinales offers stunning mountainous scenery, sprawling tobacco fields and friendly locals. A local Cuban tour guide will take care of you in Viñales, introduce you to his friends and organise any of the available optional excursions for you. Accommodation is local homestay.


Itinerary Details

Day 1 - Arrive Havana
Horseriding in Vinales, Cuba

Depending on your preference, you can either take the 8am or 1pm bus from Havana to Viñales. Our local representative will meet with you at your place of accommodation in Havana and accompany you to the public bus terminal where you will board the bus to Viñales. After 3.5 hours you will arrive in Viñales. Your local guide will be waiting for you at the bus terminal in Viñales, and will take you to your homestay. The guide will be available to you throughout your stay in here and will give you information about the many optional activities available in Vñales, and arrange these for you at your request.

Day 2 Havana - via Soroa

Depending on your requirements, a private taxi will pick you up from your homestay and take you either to a hotel in Havana or to the International airport in Havana, for your departure flight. The actual driving time is about 3 hours, and allowing 2 hours for a lunch stop in the mountain resort town of Soroa, the time in transit should be about 5 hours in total. There are quite a few attractions around the heavily forested area of Soroa including a short trek to a waterfall, a steep walk to a lookout, and an impressive orchid garden.
